Hours/Schedule: Full-time position working 6 PM- 6 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule. 1st shift Monday-Friday also available

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

-Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting

-Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; -listening for problems, using precision measuring and testing instruments.

-Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining function, form, and texture of parts.

-Fabricates repair parts with machine shop instrumentation and equipment using basic machinist skills.

-Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, digital multimeters, and straightedges to manufacturer or company specifications

-Controls downtime by scheduling with supervisors and technicians of routine preventive maintenance techniques

-Operate an electric cart, forklift, articulating boom, and man lift

 

Work Environment/Physical Demands

-Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear

-Use hands to work tools, controls, etc.

-Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

 

Education and Experience

-High School Diploma or HSED/GED Equivalent

-2-5 years of Industrial Maintenance Experience

-Manufacturing Environment experience is a plus
